Best moment award

Many thanks to Joseph Merrill, who has nominated me for a Best Moment Award, and whose blog and powerful images can be found at

Don’t know much about the award, its origins or anything, but I’m guessing that something in my last blog struck a resonance with Joe, who nominated me as he had been himself previously. Seems a good way of encouraging us to all take a closer look at whats out there in the blogosphere, so I decided to accept the award, and start reading.

Anyway here are the rules for the acceptance of the award :

1. Display the award logo,
2. Link back to the person who nominated you,
3. State 7 things about yourself, here they are:

I love the world, although it makes me cry
I have a wonderful daughter who makes me very proud
I paint to communicate
I am a biker
A cynic is an optimist with experience
I am a keen cook, but a keener eater
I take complete responsibility for myself

4. Nominate 15 (or however many you can) other bloggers for this award.

This is the part which really requires more than a moment. There’s a big wide world out there, and to do it (and the concept of an award) justice I took many moments to explore it. These bloggers all gave me a moment, a moment when I felt connected not isolated, and my selection says as much about me as the list I’ve just written can. So,congratulations to the following bloggers who caught my attention! Please check out their sites!

  1. Thank you for nominating me! I really dig this idea and 4 of your 7 things I can identify myself with. I will do this for sure, I think it will be hard to find find gems in this enormous blog jungle, but this post and your blog really got me feel connected so I’ll check out the other blogs you’ve nominated to see if they to as well. Take care!

    • Thank you and I’m glad to hear that my work and thoughts reaches out to others – yes it can be hard to find the nuggets in the morass, but it’s worth the sifting to realise that you’re not alone in your thoughts – good luck and keep smiling šŸ™‚
