Spotted

Spotted

1st July 1942: Came out of fog into bright sunshine an calm seas. Feeling exposed and it didn’t take long for the planes to spot us. There’s one, called a Condor apparently, Vulture more like, circling round and round, calling out his submariner mates to the kill. We’re in the middle of the convoy though, surely we’re safe? Glad I’m not on an ammunition ship

1.2M x 1M Acrylic on canvas. Unframed £500.
